If I choose to proceed with having a heat pump when do I make payment?

The initial design consultation is £250, unless you’re undertaking renovations and are under the Black Label scheme, in which case it’s £800.

Once you’ve received your proposal and selected any add-ons, you’ll be asked to pay a 50% deposit of the total installation cost.

Your remaining balance, minus any Boiler Upgrade Scheme grant (if eligible), is payable upon completion of the upgrade.

If you’re in Scotland, the full remaining balance is due at this stage, as the Energy Saving Trust will reimburse you directly for the value of your grant.
