What do I need to do to prepare for my Design Consultation?

To get the most out of your consultation, it helps to have a few things ready beforehand. 

If you can, gather any details you know about your home, like:

• Insulation (type and thickness, if you know it)

• Windows (type, age, glazing)

• Layout and how you use each room

And if you have any low-carbon tech such as solar, batteries or EV chargers, it’s helpful to mention it.

On the day of the Design Consultation , it really helps if you can:

• Clear some space for the room scan (normal furniture is fine)

• Know where your fuse box and meter box are

• Have your MPAN number handy (find this on your electricity bill)

• Pull up your smart meter data if you have it

It’s also worth thinking about where you’d like the heat pump and cylinder to go.
